Our Story
When things are tough, the tough get going. Peter Lawrence put that to the test when he set up Lawrence Rand estate agents in the aftermath of the financial crash in 2008.
“I wanted to establish a business to be proud of. To build an estate agency that genuinely puts the customer at the heart. I truly believe that if you get this right, success will follow on so many levels.”
Most importantly, Peter wanted to create a legacy for his family and his team, a driver that continues to motivate him to achieve more, every day. Having worked in the local property market since 1997, Peter’s recipe for a new breed of estate agency worked a treat and the industry started to take note. In 2009, Lawrence Rand was announced Best Newcomer Estate Agent in the UK, shortly followed by Best Single Office in South East England in 2011.
